Ethnic Origins: According to German authorities, over 91% of the population is of German origin. The largest ethnic group of non-German origin are the Turkish, comprising over 3% of the population. About 6% of the population is made up of individuals of Greek, Italian, Polish, Russian, Serbo-Croatian and Spanish origin.
