Banco Santander has developed a programme called International Desk which aims to promote the internationalisation of its clients. In the context of this process, the Bank in Puerto Rico has the personnel to provide local advice and offer our global network of contacts to help you generate business opportunities.
Advising our clients in itself is free of charge and allows them to make profits in the following areas:
ASK ID is a new tool available in 13 countries* where the Santander Bank is present, this allows you to schedule a "virtual meeting" through a video conference or conference call with the representative of International Desk in the country where you are planning to invest/establish your business without having the need to travel to the country of destination. Your business manager / International Desk Specialist in the country of origin will be responsible for scheduling the virtual meeting and taking you along in the process.
Locally, we will provide the advice necessary to identify what is the best way to do business with us.
In Santander Puerto Rico we have the capabilities to provide the tools necessary for our clients to manage their cash with a global vision. These services range from a current account for operational purposes such as paying suppliers or payroll to sending balances and movements via Swift MT940 or BAI2 server to server version. We can offer the option of controlling your local treasury remotely from the country of its parent through our electronic bank Global Access or delegating powers so that payments required by your business needs are made locally.
Also, if you require detailed receipts, we have various alternatives available to accept large-scale deposits (e.g. payment for services such as cable TV or mobile phone). Similarly, we will make available to you our capabilities for collection by telephone, orders or internet.
Should you require financial services for your personnel, we have the capacity for individual-level support through our exclusive Select unit or through our branches.
