Is it possible to give the company access and transaction passwords to use Electronic Banking from abroad?

YES

If so, what is the process for agreeing and receiving passwords?

  • The process can be performed by telephone and the client can print the contracts which it is necessary to send in the original by Courier
  • Santander Uruguay will then send them by Courier, details card or token, as appropriate
  • The total process takes approximately 15 days as it is necessary to have the original documents and for some validations the system takes 24 hours to validate passwords and data before becoming operational.
