What is Santander Trade?

Santander Trade is a platform that provides information on international markets for import and export companies (“Markets” section) and also offers the capability of matchmaking to find potential counterparts for your business (Trade “Club” section).

Can all companies use the Santander Trade website?

Only Santander customers and selected prospects have full access to Trade Markets section. You will have restricted access to Trade Markets if you are not part of these users or if you have not created an account on Santander Trade.

Santander Trade Club is an exclusive service for selected Santander customers.

If you are a Santander Trade customer and have not received yet an invitation, please contact your relationship manager. A company can request to enrol via the online form as well, a validation process based on enrolment criteria will be conducted in order to grant eventual membership.

What are the advantages of registering in Santander Trade?

Santander Trade offers a wide range of services and information on international trade. Registration is free and client companies have full access to the library information in “Markets”. If you are a Santander customer, please ask your activation code to your relationship manager.

The website is key to finding simple and effective solutions to help expand your business overseas. Not only overseas but for all international trade expansions including intra EU member state trade deals.

I am an individual not linked to a certain company. Can I still use the website?

Santander Trade is dedicated to companies that want to start or strengthen their activities overseas.

If you are an individual you can have limited access to the library content sections called “Markets”. However, you will not have access to the Club.

What kind of information does Santander Trade website offer?

Why must companies log in in order to access the website's services?

We ask companies to be identified with their account in order to properly manage their information and eliminate inappropriate usage of the website.

Why should I use my profile? Is it possible to change or modify a profile?

Your personal page allows you to modify your personal information.

From there, you can access the main page (after logging in the upper-right hand corner). You can also easily modify your profile.

If you are part of the Trade Club, the company identification and company details will allow other club companies to identify potential business opportunities and allow the platform to perform as efficient as possible in terms of matchmaking.

What does Santander Trade aim to accomplish?

Santander Trade supports companies in their overseas expansion efforts or the strengthening of their foreign trade activities. The website besides offering an extensive library of trade information and a wide range of services and solutions to help companies develop on a global level the Trade Club will (to selected customers) send new potential business partners to engage with fellow trusted companies. To be a Club member you just need to fill in your Business Card (validation process based on enrolment criteria will be conducted in order to grant eventual membership).

How can I obtain a password?

The password is set directly upon completion of the registration form. This allows you to access Santander Trade website.

I forgot my password. How can I recover it?

Open the "Login / Register" menu on the top of the website, then simply click on "Forgotten password" link and enter the e-mail address used during your account registration. You will automatically receive an e-mail to reset your password.

What is my business card?

The first step to successfully engaging in the Club is to create and complete your business card.

Providing all required information increase your chances to find relevant counterparts and engage in opportunities. Ensure that you provide a link to your company website, include your logo and that you provide a concise description of your activities and business interests. Include all relevant product codes which describe the best possible way the products you wish to buy or sell.

You can see on your profile the percentage of completion your business card has reached. The more details you add the better potential partner suggestions you will receive.

What are “potential business suggestions”?

You will receive regularly business opportunities suggested by our Community Manager. Choose to engage a conversation or discard them if they are not interesting for you. You can also add them to your contact book.
